The Math-Net Page Maker

The Math-Net Page Maker is an Internet tool to generate and change Math-Net Pages in an easy way. The tool produces both: the HTML Math-Net Page and the metadata mentioned above.

Remark for the technically interested:
Metadata are described as an RDF scheme (specified in XML), XHTML is the markup language for the visible part of the Math-Net Page.

In more detail, the Math-Net Page Maker offers some form sheets to the user with which Math-Net Pages can be created and re-edited. Far from sophisticated techniques the tool covers form sheets (generally filled in by the local information coordinator) to collect the relevant local information. Finally a Math-Net Page is created and delivered. Re-editing for changes is provided. There are four types of form sheets available through buttons on the start page:
  • create a Math-Net Page with standard labels,
  • change an existing Math-Net Page with standard labels,
  • create a Math-Net Page with alternative labels,
  • change an existing Math-Net Page with alternative labels.
A mouse click on one of the buttons causes a new window to be opened. A guide to generate Math-Net Pages and some necessary technical details are described in the following:
